timing on the cortex?

Hi,
I was wondering if their is any way i can get Microsecond timing on the cortex? I am going to try to output a compost video signal and i need microsecond timing.All the timing functions in robotc seem to on a millisecond clock, is their any way i can change this?I know its doubtful that i can but i just though i would ask anyway.
Please help.
